WOMANHOOD

DEFINING EXPERIENCES OF WOMANHOOD

#ARCAAWomanhood

'Womanhood'

Womanhood is a journey shaped by powerful experiences from fertility & motherhood, career & ambition, friendships & community, health & wellbeing, strength & adversity. We all have defining experiences that shape who we are, teaching us, challenging us, and helping us grow.

Yet for many, that journey includes the fight to be heard. Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 women, yet symptoms are too often dismissed, research underfunded, and solutions delayed. A condition so common should not be so misunderstood.

March marks both International Women’s Day and Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to honor not just the beauty of womanhood but the power of resilience.

From independence to adversity, every woman’s story matters. The quiet perseverance, the choices that redefine us, the lessons that shape us, they all deserve to be told.

Let’s celebrate strength, resilience, and triumph. Share your journey and spark connection through #ARCAAWomanhood.

SUPPORTING WOMEN'S HEALTH:
A CAUSE CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS

Arcaa is a business owned, led, and run by women. This cause is close to our Founder, Gemma, who has experienced Endometriosis firsthand. By sharing some of her and other women’s experiences, she hopes to help create an opportunity for more people to better understand this condition, help recognise the symptoms for earlier diagnosis and exploration of potential treatment options.

To the incredible women who live with Endometriosis every single day, we see you. We acknowledge your strength in navigating a condition that can be both isolating and debilitating.
For too long, severe period pain has been dismissed as "normal" in society, leaving many to suffer in silence. While awareness, management, diagnosis, and treatment have come a long way in recent years, there is still much progress to be made. Endometriosis is not just a women’s issue, it’s a conversation for everyone.

Through Arcaa Womanhood, we recognise the women who live with endometriosis every day. We listen, we speak up, and we take action.

100% of profits from the Womanhood Cap support Endometriosis Australia. Join the conversation. Together, we can turn awareness into action and push for lasting change.

ENDOMETRIOSIS:
THE NEED FOR PROGRES
S

Endometriosis is one of the most prevalent yet under-researched health conditions affecting women in Australia. One in seven will be diagnosed with it by their late 40s, but it still takes an average of six to eight years to receive a proper diagnosis. In that time, countless women are misdiagnosed, dismissed, or left searching for answers.

This is not just a personal struggle; it is a systemic issue. Endometriosis is one of the leading causes of hospitalisation for women, yet funding for research and treatment remains a fraction of what is needed. The economic burden reaches nearly $10 billion per year, but the real impact is measured in lost time, disrupted careers, and the toll on daily life.

For centuries, women’s pain has been normalised and overlooked. Progress is happening, and some treatments, like dienogest (Visanne), are now more accessible through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, but these are just steps in a fight that needs far more momentum.

The Womanhood Cap is a small step with a lasting purpose. With each one sold, we help fund research, improve diagnostics, and push for the change that should have happened long ago.

Because progress is long overdue.
