WOMANHOOD.

Womanhood is an ongoing initiative supporting Endometriosis, raising awareness, advocating for earlier diagnosis, and standing beside the millions of women living with a condition that is too often dismissed, delayed, or misunderstood.

Our commitment to Endometriosis remains unwavering and sits at the heart of Womanhood not as a moment, but as an ongoing responsibility. This year, we explore it through a new lens: What We Carry.

Endometriosis is not simply a diagnosis; it is something many women carry daily. It is the pain that is pushed through, the fatigue masked as resilience, the appointments, the waiting, the advocating, the hormonal shifts, the uncertainty, and the years spent searching for answers. It is the emotional weight of not being believed or of being told it is “just part of being a woman.”

What We Carry

Beyond Endometriosis What We Carry is an invitation to acknowledge these realities for all women. Womanhood today comes with constant social pressure, to do everything, be everything, and somehow never take up too much space. To succeed at work but stay agreeable, to care for others without losing yourself, to look healthy without trying, and to keep going even when you are tired, overwhelmed, or in pain. These contradictions play out in everyday moments, quietly shaping what women are expected to carry.

Through #ARCAAWOMANHOOD, we continue to raise funds and awareness for Endometriosis while fostering meaningful conversation and tangible impact within our community. Because awareness drives earlier diagnosis, earlier diagnosis improves long-term outcomes, and conversation creates change.

What women carry deserves acknowledgement, understanding, and better support. No woman should have to carry it alone.

SUPPORTING WOMEN'S HEALTH.

Arcaa is a business owned, led, and run by women. This cause is close to our Founder, Gemma, who has experienced Endometriosis firsthand. By sharing some of her and other
women’s experiences, she hopes to help create an opportunity for more people to
better understand this condition, help recognise the symptoms for earlier diagnosis and exploration of potential treatment options.

To the incredible women who live with Endometriosis every single day, we see you. We acknowledge your strength in navigating a condition that can be both isolating and debilitating.

For too long, severe period pain has been dismissed as "normal" in society, leaving many to suffer in silence. While awareness, management, diagnosis, and treatment have come a long way in recent years, there is still much progress to be made. Endometriosis is not just a women’s issue, it’s a conversation for everyone.

Through Arcaa Womanhood, we recognise the women who live with endometriosis every day. We listen, we speak up, and we take action.

ENDOMETRIOSIS.
THE NEED FOR PROGRESS

Endometriosis is one of the most prevalent yet under-researched health conditions affecting women in Australia. One in seven will be diagnosed with it by their late 40s, but it still takes an average of six to eight years to receive a proper diagnosis. In that time, countless women are misdiagnosed, dismissed, or left searching for answers.

This is not just a personal struggle; it is a systemic issue. Endometriosis is one of the leading causes of hospitalisation for women, yet funding for research and treatment remains a fraction of what is needed. The economic burden reaches nearly $10 billion per year, but the real impact is measured in lost time, disrupted careers, and the toll on daily life.

"If the Womanhood campaign can help direct just a handful of young women or parents of teens to get assessed and push for an earlier diagnosis, we can genuinely change the long-term trajectory of these women’s lives."
